Ingredients:
• Vanilla yogurt | 3/4 cup | |
• Fruit | 1/4 cup | |
• Granola | 1/4 cup | |

Directions:
In an 8oz glass or clear plastic cup, build a series of layers according to taste. A common sequence is;
- Add a few spoons of yogurt at the bottom, approx ¼ cup.
- Single layer of fruit
- Sprinkle of granola, about 2 Tbsp.
- Repeat for a second layer of yogurt, fruit and granola.
- Finish with a top layer of yogurt, one or two berries for garnish and light sprinkle of granola.
Notes:
Choose any fruit in season. Most commonly used fruits are Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Blackberry, Peach or Nectarine etc. Mango is also a possibility. Because the serving size is small, a banana would not fit in the cup. Do not use frozen or canned fruit. Serve within 15 minutes or the granola will get soggy.
If you don't have vanilla yogurt, take some plain yogurt and sweeten it. Mix 2 tsp honey or sugar into 1 cup yogurt. Add a couple of drops of vanilla extract if desired.
